STRÖBER attaches great importance to first-class workmanship and outstanding material properties right from the development process of a collection. The focus is always on the impeccable quality and origin of the leather.

All accessories, including stretch and sole materials, come from certified manufacturers with whom STRÖBER has worked closely for decades in some cases.

Inner lining

When selecting the inner lining, STRÖBER pays attention to authenticity and skin-friendliness. Unless otherwise specified, every STRÖBER shoe is equipped with a natural leather lining.

Footbeds

Thefootbedsare made from high-quality, natural Portuguese cork, free from harmful substances and plasticizers. Depending on the model, they are available with different covers such as leather, microfiber, lambskin, felt or wool. All materials are breathable and adapt perfectly to the foot. For even more comfort, some footbeds are combined with special memory foam or latex.

Width adjustment

STRÖBER offers width adjusters made of natural cork to precisely regulate the width of your shoes. Look out for the words "width compensation" on the corresponding models.

Soles

The soles must be robust, light as a feather and cushioning. They should enable anatomically healthy rolling and at the same time provide stability and sure-footedness. STRÖBER uses soles made of PUR, EVA, TPU and TPS to guarantee these properties.

Production and processing

STRÖBER produces suitable shoes by hand and with great expertise exclusively in the EU. Leather is a durable natural product that is treated with dyes and fatliquors after tanning to achieve the desired suppleness, softness and color. Subtle color variations are not material defects, but a sign of the naturalness of this product. In the final stage of production, the surface is finished with pigmented dyes and treated with dirt-repellent impregnations, depending on the type of leather, to give the leather the necessary protection.
